Focus: Daniel 2:46-47 – KJV 46. Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. 47. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
2 Chronicles 18:12-22
God is alive, and relates with mankind through those who are His. These are them in whom He dwells by His Spirit, and are thereby guided, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. When these sons of God speak, they speak the absolute truth of God without the fear of what the recipient of the message might do or what his sagacity is. When they speak, God is honored in the end, as the truth of their prophesy manifests. On another hand, there are those who speak just because of their bellies and not necessarily as God’s representatives, albeit operating in pretense to be. When they speak, their folly is soon exposed to their shame, even though they seem to bring the name of the Lord into disrepute. There is yet a third category: they do hear something before saying it. However, what they hear is not of God but from a lying spirit. Such spirit is not of God but of the devil for it is the devil that is the liar, he lied from the beginning. Theirs also never comes to pass.
Daniel was one who heard from God and proclaimed the truth that he heard. His proclamation made more people, including the king and his ministers to believe and honor his God. In the days of Ahab, there was a Micaiah, who like Daniel, spoke only the truth. But the king preferred the lying prophets around him to his own destruction. Today, there are many who claim to have God’s plan in their purview and have been prophesying lies to their own shame and unfortunately, making it seem that believing in God is a scam. The Lord is telling us today that we ought not to prophesy unless we are certain that the prophesy is from the Lord, so that when it comes to performance, many more will be added to God’s kingdom by it. It is dangerous to prophesy lies as such prophesy may cause doom for those who rely on it. If such happens, then the supposed prophet answers to God, in the end. Yet, the Lord still seeks credible people like Daniel and Micaiah to speak through, in this age. Can He count on you?
From this day henceforth, the Lord will find your body fit for His dwelling in Jesus’ name. If there be any impediment that can prevent His Spirit from tabernacling in you, the Lord will cleanse the same with the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name. Going forward, God will make you His sincere mouthpiece to the world in Jesus’ name. And as you speak, your word shall never fall to the ground in the name of Jesus Christ. Through your prophesies, many will acknowledge the Lord as God truly and abstain from unrighteousness, in Jesus’ name. That which you will say, that will bring you recognition amongst kings and rulers, the Lord will give to you now, in Jesus’ name.
SOLUTION: Submit yourself fully unto God and He will find you usable by His Spirit. When He tells you something, please deliver it as it is given, without adding your thoughts to it.
