Focus: James 1:25 - KJV

25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:19-25

There are laws and there are laws. There are man-made laws; there are laws made by man but crafted as if from God and there are the laws made by God. The laws made by God are the perfect laws of liberty. These perfect laws of liberty are those affirmed by the Christ. Every other is tainted somewhat with human flavor and therefore not of God as it is well known that the heart of man is desperately wicked. If anyone therefore finds the perfect law of liberty, the same finds the mind of God for mankind. This law is contained in the Word of God. Whoever hears the Word is expected not just to hear but also to do the stipulates of the Word. By doing it, he does the work that God commands. Doing so makes him a candidate of God’s blessing but the blessing is only guaranteed if he continues in the work garnered from the Word. The work is not necessarily ministerial or pastoral but good deeds as found in the perfect law of liberty. Those who receive this law but fail to act on it or act on it but refuse to continue therein are likened to someone who looks in the mirror and moves on putting behind his appearance. The law reveals to us our appearance and suggests to us how to be better. Refusing to heed is being careless.

God wants you to change for better if by the Word, you have found some flaws in your livelihood. It does not matter your calling or position, what is important is your getting blessed of God. Such blessing will only come if you continue in the perfect law of liberty.

SOLUTION: Always meditate on the Word of God. The revelation that come through meditation are of importance to your navigating your way into blessings. Stick with it to do it and never to depart from it.

The Almighty God will shed His light upon the Word that it may find a place in your heart in Jesus’ name. The grace to do according to the Word and never depart, the Lord will give unto you in Jesus’ mighty name. The power to overcome trials and temptations God will give to you in Jesus’ name.
