Text: Acts 17:26-27
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Bible Reading:
John 4:21-26
Message:
God is creating a commonwealth of those who believe in Him and bringing them together, though scattered over the face of the earth but are seen as being of the same kingdom having been ransomed from sin by the Lord Jesus Christ. Incidentally, there are many full of superstition like the woman Jesus met at the well of Jacob in our Bible Reading who, though full of the ‘worship’ of God, knew not God. Many people today fall into the same category. They run into some four walls in the pretext of seeking to find God there whereas they do not even know the God whom they claim to seek. Even though the Lord can be found in the same four walls by those who seek Him in spirit and in truth, many are there without finding God. To find God in any situation, we must seek Him in spirit and in truth. We must seek Him while He is yet near. It is a bad thing to look at God as our tool for problem solving that we only pick up when the need arises. God is real and is the Most High who must be reverenced. The reason therefore it seems God is not heeding the call of many is that they are full of superstition, calling unto a God they do not know. They that know their God will surely be strong and do exploits. Do you know God? If you are yet to know Him your access is through the only Way, Jesus Christ. He is the doorway to the Father. Once you have a relationship with Him, the rest becomes easy. He will guide you through the path to fulfilling His purpose for your life. Seek God today. He is nigh unto you. Stop your superstition. Focus on the true God.
Prayer Guide:
Lord, I want to know more of you. Help me to know you more that I may not waste my time and life following superstition. Help me to be useful to you for the rest of my life in Jesus name.
