Text: Dan.2:20-22
20. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21. And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

John 14:15-26
Message:
Wisdom is critical to success in life. The Bible says Jesus Christ is the power and the wisdom of God. This Jesus dwells in believers even as believers dwell in Him. But because He is no longer in the world, He left for believers a Comforter in the Holy Spirit to teach believers all things. This same Holy Spirit is the one that understands the deep things of God. Understanding the deep things of God is having deep insight to matters that are not glaring to all. Just like Daniel asserted to the king in our text, it is God (the Holy Spirit) that reveals the deep things. He is the one that makes wise and gives understanding. Incidentally, He is not available to the world. The gift of God to the world is Jesus Christ His only begotten son and not the Holy Spirit. The latter is the promise of God to the believers in Christ. Hence, you cannot access the Holy Spirit unless you have accepted Jesus Christ. This means wisdom is lacking in you until you get the Holy Spirit to be your teacher, instructor and Guide. Whatever you have been exhibiting before that appears like wisdom is mere binge of knowledge. Wisdom is deep and is available to you only through the Holy Spirit. We affirm that some do lack the Holy Spirit and seem to be wise. All they exhibit is at best inverted wisdom which at best tends to destruction and not life. Wisdom of God is freely available unto you if you will embrace the Holy Spirit. You cannot access Him unless you belong to Christ. Submit to Christ today.
Prayer:
Father, I thirst for wisdom: please fill me with your Spirit that I may be led deeper into secrets and made wise in Jesus name. Thank you heavenly father.
