I Come Quickly

Memorize: Rev. 22: 12

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Read: Rev. 22:10-14.

Message:

As sweet and enjoyable as the current life may be, it is only for a short while. By all known statistics, it is not likely that any man on this side of eternity can spend up to a hundred and fifty years on earth any more. When we compare that with the spate of time available in eternity, it gets one thinking “what is this life worth after-all?” Many “enjoyed” life in the past and are no more. Many ended up in the end without salvation and a hope of spending eternity with their Maker in bliss.

Truth be told: whether we like it or not, as real as the earth appears to us, so is hell and so is heaven. It will be foolhardy to spend time here on earth to end up in hell and miss heaven.

It is a new era. It is time to take a thought as indeed is everytime. Stop being unjust. Stop being filthy. Take up righteousness and holy living without whom no one shall see God. Obey the commandments of God. Take Him at His word. He surely will come for you one day to accord you your due reward. That day is nearer today than it was yesterday. What will be your lot when He comes. Don’t assume His coming is only at the rapture. Thank God you are still alive and you can make amends. There is no repentance in the grave. Are you prepared for the Lord?

Prayer:

Father, whatever I will do to make heaven please aid me to do it; and anything I will do that will make me miss Heaven, please don’t let me do it.
