Focus: 1 Corinthians 2:10 - KJV
10. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Galatians 1:11-17
All of a sudden it is the last day of the month again. Do you realize that the world is fast running out of time as the second coming of the Lord is more imminent today than it was yesterday? It is time to take heed to the word of God and do His will. Have you been to the cemetery recently? There are many lying there who had plans for today but never lived long enough to see it. Why not make hay while the sun still shines over you?
On this last day of September, the Lord wants us to realize that we can have insight clearly into the things considered secret in the annals of our God, if we will give in to the Holy Spirit. While Christ was upon the earth, He sought to know whom people thought He was, not having divulged the information to anyone. Peter spoke truth to power, not having been taught by any man, and Christ announced that he could only have such understanding by the Holy Spirit. Others goofed, but Peter was correct by the Holy Spirit. While Peter and others were busy understudying Jesus, Saul of Tarsus was frolicking away with the rulers of the Jews. At some point, he confronted Jesus with questions with a view to entrapping Him. When Christ passed on, he engaged in the destruction of the church and everyone that made allegiance to the name of Jesus. Yet, when he became a student in the school of the Holy Spirit, he knew much more than others before him, with deeper understanding of the person and mandate of the Lord.
The things of God are deep and mysterious for those who lack the Spirit of God, for it is the Spirit that knows the deep things of God and will reveal it to them that He desires. Like He revealed so much to Paul, He is willing to reveal much more to us if we are available unto Him to teach. Our concerns and pursuit, however, are not focused on the kingdom and therefore, like Saul of Tarsus, many are misguided and misdirected. If only we will enroll in the school of the Holy Spirit, then shall we have clear revelation of the deep things of God to gain understanding of things past, current happenings and lined up future events. The things that John got from that school and wrote in the Book of Revelation, have started to speak in performance.
SOLUTION: Enroll in the school of the Holy Spirit for insight into the deep things of God by first getting born again, getting baptized in water and then yearning for the Holy Spirit to indwell you. As you yearn, you must study the word of God and ask continually for insight. Very soon you will be a scholar approved of God.
Please pray: Father, as this month ends today, please do not let the next sun come until I am enlisted in the school of your Spirit in the name of Jesus. Prosper me in your word and the knowledge of your mysteries from now on, in Jesus’ name.
