Message:
It is a very great privilege to share in the divine nature of God through Christ Jesus. Those who bear such nature possess the capacity to know God and know Him the more by and by. God is also happy to have us as His children while He remains our Father and our God. However, by His being which He cannot deny, God cannot dwell with anyone in iniquity. Presenting iniquity in any form before God is to bring an abomination to Him. Some have been so misguided to believe once you give your life to Christ, your sin is erased and therefore you can live as you like. Nothing can be more erroneous. For you to be saved indeed, after receiving power to become a son of God, you must put that power to good use by ensuring you have faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and brotherly love among other things, to earn the fullness of the stature of Christ which is sonship. These things help you to bear the fruit of the Spirit. It develops you more in the knowledge of the father. If however, we fail to hold on to these things we appear to have forgotten that we were rescued from the fangs of sin and hell and so slide back into the old ways. If a person is acquitted of armed robbery because someone paid the ransom for his offense, and he returns thereafter to continue his armed robbery, when caught, the judge will prefer to keep him away to prevent him from being a menace to society. Don’t be deceived, we cannot continue in sin and ask grace to abound. You are either free from sin or you are not. Take the kingdom recipe recommended for your growth to full sonship and you will never regret it.
