Focus: Psalms 56:10 - KJV
10. In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.
John 1:1-5
God is inseparable from His word for the word of God is God. It is through His word that we get to know Him and to appreciate His power over all creation. And by His word, He created everything that is and there is nothing that is that exists outside of His word. The things that we see and those that are yet to manifest, exist in God’s word. If therefore, we so appreciate the existential power of His word, which is in Him, then we ought to always praise His word in Him. It is by the word that we are saved from damnation of sin and death. The establishment of the word for the full salvation of men is the Church. It is the final ark to convey people from the world of darkness into the light of the Kingdom of God. When we hold on to the potency in the word, it comes alive in us for victory in all of our circumstances. Then, having this understanding that all of our circumstances are dealt with in the word, we ought always to give praise to the word, who in God is.
Can we all please reverence always the word of God who became flesh for our sakes that He may save us from all our infirmities? As we reverence Him that became flesh, we must always ensure we are pleasing to Him by the help of the Holy Spirit, by standing firm in the word that He left with us of which we are constantly reminded by the Holy Spirit even as the same Spirit opens our eyes to new things that agree with the word. Let us therefore, like David, praise the word in the Lord for what the word has done and is still doing in our lives cannot be overemphasized. Jesus is the word that has been from the beginning, who is now and ever shall be. Praise the Lord!
SOLUTION: Appreciate always the word of God for it is our compass that is alive forever. The earlier we recognize and appreciate the great works the word achieves in our lives and affairs, the better.
Please pray:
· Praise the word in the Lord today for He is good and His mercies endure forever
· Pray that the word will be a light to your path and lamp to your feet all through life
· Ask God to always shed His light upon His word in your heart so that you may live always by the word
· Ask that God should forgive you of not venerating the word before now
· Ask God to prosper you by His word
