Revelation of the Father

Focus: Luke 10:22 - KJV

22. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Luke 10:21-24

The just and devout Simeon waited for the consolation of Israel and the Holy Ghost was upon him. When eventually he took the baby in his hands, he glorified God for being able to see the consolation of Israel and sought permission to die. Revealing the Christ to man is a thing of great joy that ought to make anyone that knows Him fulfilled. Many came before His coming that craved to see or know Him but never had the opportunity. Those that lived at the time He was on earth did not so much appreciate Him and His essence, teachings until perhaps after His resurrection. Today, a total package is delivered to man that we can take up for an insight into the person of the Christ and it appears too cheap in our eyes that we don’t value it. Yet, no one gets anything worthwhile from God except through Him, Jesus Christ. Those who lived prior to His time thought they knew God but they didn’t. There is no knowing God except through Christ and there is no coming to know Christ except drawn by God Himself. It follows therefore that if you are still resisting to know Christ, you may just have been rejected of God for if God draws you, He brings you to Christ so that through Christ, you may know Him.

There are many impediments in the ways of man that make them not to see the essence of being of Christ. They are primarily blindfolded through lust, pride and greed from understanding that all things belong to God and have been submitted to the Christ. When they so live, they become resistant to the pull of the Father and therefore no matter what we say, it falls in deaf hears. Point is, no matter what is used in sermonizing to someone that will perish, he will still end up perishing. For us, let us be focused on the Christ in whom the whole earth consists and we shall surely through Him, know and meet the Father, some day.

SOLUTION: Jesus is the only Way to knowing the Father. Whatever or whoever we have believed knows not the Father but Christ. Look to Jesus Christ and be guaranteed life. There is no alternative. In Him is Life.

I pray that the Lord opens our hearts and make them receptive of the Word of God unto salvation in Jesus’ name. I pray that the power of the resurrected Christ will reveal the Father to us that we may always worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Look and live.
