Righteousness: Key to sustenance

Focus: Psalms 37:25 - KJV

25. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

1 John 5:1-3

Righteousness depicts living right with God. To live right with God is to love Him and to love Him is to obey His commands. Those who are able to do this are never lacking in good things. Why? Because the One they love reciprocates love in return. And as He is the possessor of all good and perfect things, He releases them unto His beloved per time. Interestingly, when He releases His blessings unto His beloved, it lasts beyond a generation. His blessings are almost unending and therefore they last longer than human anticipation. David was acclaimed a righteous king in Israel. His blessings transcended him to his sons and then his latter generations. Today, Israel still acknowledges that the throne is preserved for David. David needed not beg bread, neither did Solomon and not any of their known descendants.

Our dearly beloved, to love God is all He seeks from us all. Rather than love Him, many do show their love to the devil who, incidentally is diametrically opposed to God. Yes, they love the devil instead in that they only obey the commands of the devil and pay lip service to that of God. Whom do you love? Show that you love God by obeying His commands fully and so will you be counted righteous. Once this happens, the good things of life will start to happen to you and if you remain faithful to the end, to your offspring also.

SOLUTION: Do that which pleases the Lord always. Ask Him from then whatsoever you desire using the name of Jesus as your tool of request. Be sure never to renege from loving God. Soon, the whole world will be rejoicing with you.

The blessings of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow shall be yours today in the name of Jesus. The power to love God unflinchingly, the Lord gives to you today in Jesus’ name. From this day, you will never look to any man for supplies again in Jesus’ name and all the fruit of your body shall have no need to beg bread ever in Jesus’ name.
