Focus: Jeremiah 17:12 - KJV
12. A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
Ephesians 2:1-6
For those who do know their God, though they are physically roaming the earth and doing various exploits, from the time they accepted Christ as Lord, they are practically dead with Christ and risen again in Him. From the point of their rising with Him, they are catapulted to sit with Christ Jesus on the righthand of the throne of God, which is located far above all principalities and powers. Even Jeremiah spoke about it long before Christ actualized it. The sanctuary of the righteous is in the bosom of the Lord. And, since he who is above is above all, we are above all principalities and powers and can therefore command and control them.
This position played out in the lives of the disciples of Christ after they believed and received the Holy Ghost of promise. Common aprons and handkerchiefs from the body of Paul healed many, as the source of their problems was traceable to principalities and powers, and Paul was already above them. Peter too had remarkable showing from being seated on the righthand of the throne of God with Christ Jesus. His shadow was recorded as healing the sick, that were laid on the streets, as he passed. Even the voice of Paul caused blindness for the disrupter of the way of salvation.
Dearly beloved, we need to appreciate where we are, in the realm of the spirit, to be able to ascribe the benefits to ourselves, and also mankind in general. Unless and until we start to properly show up for the creatures, they will continue to be under the bondage of the devil. Many of them are helpless, as they have been brainwashed with the fables fed them by those who do not occupy any position by the high throne of God. Like Christ, we are to confront and dispel the works of the devil wherever we find it in operation. In the place we occupy, we are expected to assert our position without fear or doubt. Let us therefore be bold to cast out devils, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed, noting that this is only made possible, if we are still seated by Christ Jesus, in heavenly places. Those who already stepped down, must not attempt to assert such power, else they will regret.
SOLUTION: We can continue to show forth the power of Him who saved and called us to Himself if we remain in Him. Remaining in Him is showing forth the works of righteousness. Let us be careful not to depart from this.
Please pray: Thank you Father for having us seated with you in heavenly places; from today, let every principality and power bow at the sound of my voice in Jesus’ name. Therefore, all power preventing me from manifesting the glory of God on earth, I command you to bow now, in Jesus’ mighty name.
