Focus: Psalms 103:6 - KJV
6. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
Esther 9:1-5
God hates that His children or anyone of them be oppressed. Because He is Love, He moves against oppressors even though He allows them opportunity to repent before doing so. And because He knows all things, He needs not be told who the oppressor is. He sees by Himself and so, He judges the situation righteously to recompense each actor, according as his actions shall be. There were two special characters in the days of scripture. The one was Mordecai and the other Haman. By his status in the country he found himself, being already a captive/slave, Mordecai was already operating under the yoke of oppression. On the other side was Haman who was a lieutenant of the king. Although Mordecai may have been a better endowed man in wisdom than Haman, but because of his status, he stayed at the gate while the other advised the king in the palace. And because he had the ear of the king, Haman was able to advise the king to make laws including exterminating a whole race and the king acceded. Now, because it was against the culture and belief of Mordecai to bow to anyone except the living God, he did not bow to arrogant Haman and so, Haman made up his mind his culture was faulty and must be eradicated. But God arose for Mordecai and the Jews; He judged Haman and made him to die by the instruments he made with his own hands.
The God then is still the same today. You may also be undergoing excruciating pain under some form of oppression. Don’t despair. God is here for you to turn the tide around. The oppressor of your life is about to be oppressed if he fails to repent immediately. It is also possible that you are the one oppressing another. Please don’t look at yourself so highly than you ought. God is the One who can kill and make alive. If you don’t have such power, stop arrogating it to yourself. By so doing, you are calling God to contest. And, most honestly, you don’t want that to happen as it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Loose him now that you have kept in oppression and God will spare you. For you that is being oppressed, cheer up! Salvation is here.
I pray with you today, that by the power of the One who came to destroy the works of the devil, every form of oppression over your life, business, family or society is scattered for your sake right now in Jesus name. The snare is therefore broken and you are set free in the name of Jesus. No power will be able to hold you bound ever again in Jesus name. Congratulations and welcome to better times.
