Are you available?

Focus: Isaiah 6:8 - KJV

8. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Judges 6:11-16

For every man born into the world, there is a purpose. Such purpose is known precisely unto the Creator. The Creator is a Spirit. Yet, He rules and reigns in the affairs of men. He operates by taking over some men who are flesh and blood, to relate with the world which is made up of men. The flesh is blind to the Spirit, ordinarily. As Spirit, God does not however force Himself on anyone. Therefore, for the Spirit of God to employ the vessel of a man who is flesh and blood, it is necessarily with the consent of the one who owns the body. So, when the Creator finds relevance and acceptance in any vessel who yields to Him for His use, the same is galvanized by the Spirit into the fulfilment of the purpose for which he was made in the first place.

Christ was conceived of the Spirit, lived by the Spirit and raised from the dead by the Spirit. He fulfilled purpose. Samson was raised to judge Israel and rescue them from the oppression of their neighbors. By the dreads on his head, he became a repository of sort for the Spirit. For as long as he abided with the rules of the Spirit, he remained relevant. When he messed it up, he became doomed. Saul of Tarsus was born to minister God and life in Him to the gentile world. Before he surrendered to the Spirit, he was full of rubbish ministering death to Israel. When he surrendered, his transformation and eventual speed at fulfilling destiny was resounding. Peter was raised to drag men like fish out of swamp of darkness into the Light of God. Before the Spirit took him over, he was wasting away using minial nets wanting to drag fish out of the waters. All of these people however, had first to consent to God using their vessel. In Gideon was hidden a mightiness that even he did not know about until the Lord sought him to be His representative in battle for Israel.

Friends, it is your turn to shine, excel and fulfill destiny. There is a potential in you that you are yet to appreciate. God wants to help you to bring it out. He will not however come to you to say, let me help bring out your potential. Rather, He throws a general question: whom shall I send? But if you be available, all the benefits of the Spirit are bestowed on you to show forth. Are you available? Yield to Him today even as I pray with you that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead starts to accelerate your progress from now in Jesus name. God bless you.
