Key verse: Matthew 6:26
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Luke 5:1-7
Happy New Month Beloved! The Lord will make this the month of your greatest success so far in Jesus name. by now we ought to know that our anxieties add nothing good to us. It rather reduces us. Our God is a benevolent and kind father. Even though many do not give Him credence, yet He supplies our daily bread regularly. It is true that some do not get daily bread. That is not because the Lord has not provided but because they are looking in the wrong places after having shifted their focus from God. When God created man, He already had ready provision for his sustenance. All He did was to put man into it and direct him to feed on. Like man, all that the birds of the air and even common ants as well as moths will eat are already provided by the Lord. They need not sow a seed consciously or set out in pursuit of reaping. The supply is already there for their taking. But men are too cumbered with strange thoughts that make them wander about in search of food that is not amiss.
One fateful day, the Lord Jesus Christ visited Peter at home while the mother in law was ill with a fever. No one offered Christ food possibly because supply was little. But as soon as Christ healed the lady, she went about putting something together for food. This ordinarily is the way of the old ladies: the kitchen is never too empty not to get something edible out of it. Perhaps because of the scarce resources at home and the anxiety to ensure the situation was taken care of, while Christ was still in his premises at night healing numerous people of the sicknesses, Peter had gone to the lake to fish. It will appear that when Christ was done at dawn, He went the way Peter had gone to seek him again while others sought to hear great words from the Lord. By the time the Lord located Peter, he had toiled all night for fish in his anxiety and caught nothing. Then the unexpected happened. After giving his boat to Christ for Kingdom use, he was told where the provision was and at one cast, he caught a draught.
The provision that you need to end your anxieties and toiling is also available. All you need is to be focused and obey the Kingdom directives and you will have them. As you journey in this new month, cast away all anxiety and rather cast your net only at the word of God and you will experience inexplicable joy. A glorious month it shall be in Jesus name.
Pray: Father, please direct me to green pastures and forestall my anxieties in Jesus name.
This is a confirmation that God's provision has preceded my arrival in the month of September. I received another word earlier today from Lev 26:5, Your threshing season will overlap with the grape harvest, and your grape harvest will overlap with the season of planting grain. You will eat your fill and live securely in your own land''
