Believe and Be Established

Scripture: Isaiah 7:9 (KJV) "If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established."

The Message

In the Kingdom of God, faith is our currency. True establishment and prosperity come only to those who take God at His word. It is easy to give God "lip service" while living a life that reflects doubt, but those who truly know God as reliable and truthful are the ones who find the strength to do great exploits.

The Bible gives us powerful examples of what happens when we choose belief over logic:

• Lazarus: When Christ went to raise Lazarus, He reminded his sisters that seeing the glory of God is directly tied to believing first.

• King Jehoshaphat: When facing an overwhelming army, he followed the "foolish" instruction to put singers at the front of the battle line. Because he believed, he won a victory without even having to fight.

Today, God is ready to do mighty things in your life. He asks only that you remove all doubt regarding His promises. No matter how "illogical" His instructions may seem to human ears, if you believe, you will see His glory in the areas of your life that seem most insurmountable.

Be resolute. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Wait on Him.

Prayer

Almighty God, I thank You for the gift of this glorious day. Today, I ask that You manifest Your wonders so that Your glory may be seen through me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command every hindrance to my well-being to give way. As this day progresses, let every enemy of my soul be discomforted and defeated, in Jesus’ name. Amen
