11. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Psalms 44:15-22
Whenever the devil comes forth against a believer or even anyone, there is always a way out by drawing on the existing credit in the storehouse of God. The storehouse is kept in credit when a believer does what the Lord directs, which is accounted for righteousness for his sake. So, when something untoward happens, the believer can call the attention of heaven to his kingdom balance and show why he should not be allowed to go through any pressure under the yoke of the enemy. It is absolutely counter-productive for a person who has been on the righteous path to be subjected to torture in the hands of the devil. When the righteous boldly draws from his account, God reckons. If however, there is nothing to draw from, such a being must be bold to draw on God’s mercy, which simply is an overdraft.
Hezekiah was told to prepare his house for his death. He contested the prophesy boldly by drawing on his sacrifices and offerings before the Lord. The Lord halted the death verdict and added to him fifteen years. Job’s life was put in jeopardy by the devil. He refused to accept that as the right verdict over his life. He boldly stated how it could not be the right position for his life having lived in righteousness. He was restored doubly for all the enemy took from him. Bartimaeus had no credit to boldly draw on. Not necessarily because he had not been righteous but perhaps because he did not have certainty about his balance. He drew on Christ’s mercy which was an overdraft in a manner of speaking. And the blind got back his sight.
The Lord is saying to us today that we need not operate in a state of lack of knowledge, allowing the enemy to feast on us. Our works of righteousness are available for us to draw on to checkmate the enemy in all of his actions against us. Even if we are unsure of the state of our heavenly account and we are caught by the enemy in any state, we can draw on the account of the righteousness of Christ which is available to every believer. Although that cannot fail, but it is possible the drawing is obstructed by the accuser of the brethren. Even at that, we can make an overdraft by seeking the mercy of God. What is that hard situation that is making you head-bowed as a believer? Why not boldly draw from your heavenly account now, even if it is an overdraft? Act now.
Please pray:
My father and my God, I thank you for always honoring my drawings from the heavenly account against the incursions of the enemy over my life. Lord, I submit my current situate (set it out) into your care. I call you to remembrance of the fact that I have always stayed in your love even as I do love my neighbor. I therefore ask that you please blow away the activities of the devil over my life and affairs now in Jesus’ name. I particularly pray that you please let your mercy prevail in my affairs even as I draw on the righteousness of Christ in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
