God Is The Great Performer

ree

Focus: Psalms 57:2 - KJV

2. I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

Psalms 52:1-11

The Lord is a strong pillar of support for everyone who loves Him. There is nothing the believer does that is by his own ability or prowess. His performances are of the Lord and for it, he is seen as an extraordinary being amongst others. Incidentally, the battles of life are rife for every man because the devil is intimidated by the credentials of man as made by God. But every man who has God as his lover, has Him as ally to defend him against all the wiles and devices of the devil. Even though we see the hands of men, we wrestle not against them really, but spiritual beings. Many are therefore under the pressure of darkness while the lover of God has God performing all things for him. God provides for his needs, protects him from attacks, heals him of his wounds, if any, cures him of his diseases and grants him peace. All these with relative ease as compared with others.

Israel was a special nation in the hands of God. For many years they were under Egyptian bondage. When He took them over through Moses, He performed all things for them: He protected them from the plagues that ravaged Egypt, opened a way for them where ordinarily there was no way, provided food for them in a way that they themselves could not imagine, gave them water from a rock in a desert condition, caused their enemies to be afraid of them aforetime, made their raiment to wear not nor allowed their sandals to cut despite trekking for many years, caused a wall of fortification to cave in to allow them entry into their reserved promise and sustained them all through their wilderness experience.

God wants us to realize and acknowledge that He is the one that has been performing all things for us that has made life easy for us. For as long as we refuse to acknowledge His acts and deeds in our lives, we ask Him to stay off our affairs. He is one who loves us and every love we claim we have for Him are only because He first loved us. Our gratitude to God is so little that He is calling our attention to the fact that He is the one that daily loads us with benefits. He is the one that teaches our hands to war and to make wealth. If we must continually be so sustained, like David, we need to honor God and always ascribe to Him all the glory for our performances. Please be careful to give God glory and never share in it at any time.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for all that you have been performing over my life that has kept the enemy away from my affairs and has kept me away from destruction. I confess that without you there is absolutely nothing I can do. Please continue to rule and reign over my life and my family, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every plan and machination of the enemy over my life, please scuttle today, in Jesus’ name. In all my doings, please grant me victory without a fight by your performance, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
