Focus: Deuteronomy 33:27 - KJV
27. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Joshua 6:1-2
God is not wicked. He knows the intents of the hearts of men. When God created man, He gave him the earth. At the time, there was no demarcation of territories and boundaries. When He found Abraham, He showed him the territory called Canaan for the inheritance of his offspring. Nonetheless, He did not at the time constrain him from living with others in the same territory. However, by the time Joshua led Israel back into the territory, some people lived there who knew not how to love. They shut Israel out and would have them suffer that had been given the territory hitherto. For this, God arose on behalf of Israel and thrust out their enemy before them and got them and their belongings destroyed. If they had yielded space to Israel, perhaps they would have been accommodated in some portion of the land without any trouble like the Gibeonites.
Today, some people may have turned themselves into your enemy not wanting to yield up any space for you. They seek actually to have you in derision. But the One who sits in heaven shall laugh. He will cause them to be smitten for your sake. You must however not be the aggressor. Live in love with your neighbors and see the effect of love in life. If however anyone moves against you, the same has God to contend with. His everlasting arms are under you for bearing you up in safety. Your enemy is in trouble.
SOLUTION: Ensure you are always on the Lord’s side. Let love be your watchword. Don’t allow yourself to be an instrument in the hands of the devil to oppress others. Rather accommodate strangers and do good unto others.
The Lord shall arise for you today and possess for you every bit of the land that He has assigned to you but taken over by the enemy in Jesus name. He will not allow you to suffer under the yoke of the enemy’s oppression in Jesus name. That which is yours shall never be deprived you in the name of Jesus Christ. Enter into your land of promise with joy. Shalom!
