Focus: Ephesians 6:10-12 - KJV
10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:10-18
The end times are here. Indeed, the Lord is about to take up His Church. The enemy is equally aware of the signs and is fiercely battling for the souls of the remaining saints in the Kingdom so as to prevent a sizeable number from joining the Lord’s army for the battle of Armageddon. The Lord has prescribed His own armor, as the Lord of Hosts, unto every believer. Those who retain faith in God will believe Him for His word, and fortify themselves with the prescribed armor with which they are able to overcome the principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places which we wrestle against. No, not human beings which constitute flesh and blood.
Elymas was human; but he was operating under the influence of strange powers to withstand Paul and his friends on their missionary assignment. By the instrumentality of the sword of the Spirit, Paul overcame him. Christ Himself was tempted severally by the prince of the air and He was able to stand because of God’s armor. After leaving Lydia’s house for prayers, a damsel followed Paul and the other disciples speaking as if in their favor but performing the errand of the spirit of divination for soothsaying for personal gains. But for God’s armor, Paul would not have been able to relieve her of the demon in her. She retained her life, but the demon vanished from her inside.
God wants that, like Christ, we should be equally equipped to confront the battles of this world while we take the charge thereof. It cannot be right that we be of the Most High and possess His authority over the earth, and yet, the manifestation of darkness and crass wickedness be so overwhelming. The Lord is asking us to arise as soldiers of the cross and repossess that which He gave us which we dropped to the dark forces. Unless we rise up to the occasion, God is not coming to do it for us. It has been bestowed on us and it is ours to reclaim. Therefore, please kit up.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for your faithfulness in making your armor available unto me for my use in confronting the forces of darkness on this earth. As I put on the armor you have prescribed, please grant me the victory in every confrontation with the forces of darkness in Jesus’ name. Let me never be a casualty in any battle no matter how fierce, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name. As I begin to put your name to use in prayer as an armor, let every knee begin to bow, in Jesus’ name. In the end, let your name alone be glorified, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.

Indeed, we must put on our armour as Christians
