The Focus: Lamentations 3:25: “The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”
Psalms 130:6
The Perspective: Anxiety vs. Access
Anxiety adds no value; it only multiplies sorrow and disappointment. However, everything you seek is within God’s easy reach. Instead of straining under the weight of "how" and "when," your primary task is to connect with the Lord through prayer and remain there until He speaks.
The David Strategy: Wait Before You Move
Even when his camp was burned and his own men turned against him, David didn't rush into battle. He stopped to seek divine direction first. Because he waited on God, he didn't just fight—he overtook and recovered all. Waiting isn't lost time; it is the secret to winning with "less stress."
The Daily Call
Don't "jump the gun" after you pray. Prayer is a two-way communication. If you have asked, have the discipline to wait for His direction. His timing is perfect, and His kindness is guaranteed to those who refuse to let anxiety rob them of His "goodies."
Prayer
In the name of Jesus, I command every root of anxiety in my heart to be still. Lord, I receive the grace to seek You first and the patience to wait for Your divine direction. I declare that I will not rush ahead of Your grace. I am confident that You will come through for me, and I shall recover everything the enemy has tried to steal. My joy is secure in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
