25. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

Matthew 7:24-27
When the Lord spoke to Noah and said that for as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest would not cease, he spoke not only of plants but everything a man does also. Hence, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, so would he reap. To reap is to harvest in larger proportion than the seed. The whirlwind, while it blows, is a strong destructive wind, but it hardly lasts in time. So is the life of the wicked. While he operates in wickedness, he may appear powerful and thriving; but his strength soon wanes and he becomes a pity of many who hitherto regarded him. The case of the righteous is different. His life inures even when his physical life is over.
The Lord Jesus equates righteousness and wickedness with hearing and obeying His words. They that hear and obey are righteous and would withstand the storms of life. But they that do not, are swept away in the storms. King Saul in the latter part of his life was wicked and operated like a whirlwind particularly against the young lad, David. His existence was terminated and that, with his children. But God considered David righteous and declared him a man after His own heart. The life of David physically ended in old age, yet God has preserved his memory and therefore, existence till today. In Israel, the name of David is not only mentioned ordinarily, it is always called king David.
The Lord is telling us to please be righteous so that it may be to our own benefit in the end. Every unrighteousness shall be brought to judgment. If we continue in unrighteousness by refusing to hearken to the voice of the Lord our God, it is not the Lord that will suffer for it but the unrighteous himself. The truth is, life is too short for anyone to relish wickedness. Such act shall surely come to pass, but the retributory effect is almost invariably devastating for the wicked. Yield the voice of God today; live in righteousness and reap the fruit thereof.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, every past act of wickedness that have become a seed waiting to bring forth repercussions, the Lord will uproot by His mercy, in Jesus’ name. Whatever will revert you to the wicked path, the Lord will remove for your sake, now in Jesus’ name. From now on, only the proceeds of righteousness shall be your harvest in Jesus’ name. The Lord that gave David life and life more abundantly, will do much more for you as you are greater than David, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
