Focus: Zechariah 9:9 - KJV
9. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Revelation 19:11-16
On a day like this very many years ago, the Lord rode on a colt into Jerusalem where everyone that was around saw Him and hailed Him acknowledging His royalty as the son of David which is the title of the Messiah. Although the hailers were expecting Him to operate as a warrior and destroy the Roman overlords at the time, little did they know that the enemy to overthrow was not the Roman empire but the satanic kingdom that had the whole world wrapped in darkness.
Like it happened in those days, today is a day to reflect on what the events of those days portend for mankind. The same king that rode on a colt in humility at the time is the Lord of Hosts who will return riding on a white horse with an array of soldiers riding white horses to finally overthrow the devil and all the operators of his kingdom. The Lord is set to reclaim full control and submit the reins over the earth unto Himself and those who are His joint heirs, to rule and reign over the earth.
God is saying we should not just celebrate the triumphant entry as a past event but to use it as a reminder of the real triumphant entry that is about to happen, an event that will soon be heralded with the sound of the trumpet. As we are so reminded, we are to get ourselves in tune and ready for the rapture. It will be a sordid event that will be irreversible. Those who will be taken up, will reign with the Lord while those who will be left behind are consigned to darkness with the devil. It is important we put our houses in order so as not to be left behind.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for the hope that I have to reign with you when you return to take over the earth from the devil. Please help me to be upright and fit to reign with you, by cleansing me anew with your blood, in the name of Jesus. Let no devil prevent me from being available to sing Hosannah when you return and to back it up by being caught up in the air to be with you, in Jesus’ name. Please let me never be left behind, dear Lord in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
