Focus: Colossians 2:2-3 - KJV
2. That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Colossians 1:26-28
It is the fool that says in his heart that there is no God. God is, and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. His existence is glaring from even the things He does. God is not flesh and blood but a Spirit. It seemed that man would rather see to believe; they had refused to fully believe the prophets the Lord had sent over time. He decided to send His only Son who is His image, to show the way to relate with God, the father. Despite all of that and what the Lord has shown that speak to His existence, those who would perish yet assume there is no God.
Pharaoh queried the existence of God and learned the hard way. God is not someone that can be held by the hands of men. Moses sought to see Him but was made to see the backside as He passed; Moses never recovered from it. His existence is in itself mysterious. However, it is not difficult to know Him. For anyone that has seen the Christ or knows Him already knows God. Christ is the direct way, the only way, to God.
If we must understand the mystery of God, then we need to take time to study Christ and fuse with Him. Paul sought to know His totality. We can do the same to unravel the mystery of God. He lives.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for being my God. I know you are and that you have proven yourself in my life on many occasions. Daddy, please unravel the mystery of your person to me the more so that I may fear you more and tell many others about the truth of your person, more than I do currently. Please take me to the height in you where I never thought possible and make me a light lifted for all eyes to see, as I present you to the world, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
