Use The Right Gate

Focus: Luke 13:24 - KJV

24. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matthew 7:13-21

The devil is never happy to see anyone finding the way to salvation in God, away from his lordship. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. There is no other way to the father, but Him. Hence, the enemy does so much to discredit Him in the view of men, just like he did with Eve in the beginning. He makes God a liar in the minds of men. Hence, there are not many people finding the narrow path. Only a few are on the very path and they are known by the fruit they bear. A crowd following and sticking with a movement is a red flag. The entry into the Kingdom is a matter of striving and not a mass entry route. No wonder Christ said from the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

The mind of God in Christ is to save as many as would come to Him, from the yoke of the devil. But it is not everyone that calls Him Lord that will be saved. It is only those who do the will of the father as indicated by the Lord, Jesus Christ, that will be saved. It is one thing to carry the Bible in one’s head; it is another to operate the knowledge with the desired wisdom. Indeed, the Bible is a matrix of sorts. Some will see it and assume they have found the totality of God in the Torah. Alas, such would have missed out on the correction propagated by the Way Himself and end up following the broadway that leads to perdition. No matter how many times those ones call Christ Lord, they have been in denial of Him, and He is bound to deny them too.

The Lord is asking us to put our hearts to wisdom. Wherever the truth is found, people do not throng there. They are only found where there is luring and lustful desires: search for insatiable wealth, offer of healing for the body or mind, and such other things that do not relate directly to the soul. It is not enough to ask that people surrender their lives to Christ without them having the understanding of what that connotes. It is like luring them to join the number so that they can be made better materially. That is never the narrow path that leads to the strait gate. Let us be mindful of such as it leads mainly to perdition. For the kingdom is not in meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, every deception that the enemy is pushing your way with a view to directing you to the wrong path shall be dissolved in your glare today in Jesus’ name. All attempts to make you miss the strait gate and to enter through it shall be thwarted for your sake, in Jesus’ name. From this day forward, the Spirit of the living God shall direct you by the word of the Lord through the narrow path to the strait gate, in Jesus’ name. You will end strong and well in Jesus’ name. You will surely fulfil destiny in the name of Jesus.
