Being Glorified With Christ

Focus: Romans 8:17 - KJV

17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Titus 3:3-7

The mission of our Lord Jesus Christ on earth was to reconcile us back to the father who loves us and put us in dominion over His enterprise, the earth. When He came to earth through a woman born under the law, He became the son of man even though He is ever the Son of God. He went through His affairs on earth unlike ordinary man as He had no fault or any baggage of the enemy in Himself. To this end, when He submitted Himself for the death on the cross and rose again, He was glorified by the father and was given a name that is above all names in all the realms. By extension, everyone that suffers like He said we would suffer, with Him, will also be glorified with Him, in the end, having been made children of the father and resultantly joint-heirs with Him by the reconciliation.

The evidence of being joint-heirs with Christ is glaring upon the true believer. He starts to live a life of holiness without engaging in vile talks and manners. He begins to operate in the supernatural just like Christ did. Saul of Tarsus was a villain operating in unbelief when God arrested him on his way to do his usual travails. He needed canal weapons to hack down Christians at the time. When he became a joint-heir with Christ, handkerchiefs and aprons from his body healed the sick. When he was to rebuke Elymas for being an anti-Christ, he only commanded him to be blind for a season and it was so. Peter became joint-heir and his shadow raised the sick. The traits of God’s presence in the life of the believer cannot be hidden.

The Lord is still spreading His everlasting arms so wide to take us into His embrace even as we accept the offer of Christ for a reconciliation with Him. And as we reconcile with the father, we come to a vantage position on earth, where, over time, by His Spirit, we will begin to operate in His power just like Christ did whilst on earth. He is saying to us that He has not changed and will never change. If only we will draw ourselves into His loving embrace, not only shall we be shielded from the attacks of the enemy, we will also disperse the enemy from our presence, anywhere we find him in operation. Let us with all seriousness accept the reconciliatory offer we have from Christ, so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for keeping me in your warm embrace. Thank you for not allowing the enemy anywhere near me. Let the power in your embrace translate into clear evidence on earth of my being in dominion over the devil and his kingdom, in the name of Jesus. Let the enemy bow everywhere at my appearing and to my voice, in Jesus’ name. Glorify me with Christ so that every eye that sees me may identify the glory of God upon my life, in Jesus’ name. Starting today, do let everyone that comes into contact with me be freed from sickness, debt and death in Jesus’ name. Make it a glorious day for me dear Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
