Focus: Hebrews 12:25 (KJV)"See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven."
Hebrews 10:26-29
The Law of the Creator
God is the sovereign Controller of the universe, and His words are the ultimate law for every creature. His voice isn't meant to restrict us, but to guide us toward righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. When we choose to ignore His instructions, we aren't just breaking a rule; we are walking away from the very atmosphere of the Kingdom of God. True salvation is found in receiving and yielding to His word.
The Weight of Heavenly Instruction
History shows that turning away from God’s voice carries heavy consequences. If those who disobeyed the earthly voice of Moses faced harsh judgment, how much more serious is it to ignore the One speaking from heaven? We see this in the lives of Herod, who was struck down for taking God's glory, and Nebuchadnezzar, who was humbled in the forest for seven years. These examples remind us that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God by walking in pride and disobedience.
Obedience Over Sacrifice
The Lord’s message for us today is simple: Obedience is better than sacrifice. Rather than living in a cycle of making mistakes and trying to atone for them, we are called to live intentionally in His will. Choosing to obey saves us from the stress and panic of judgment, preserving us within the safety of His Kingdom. When we follow His voice, we find the "Kingdom benefits" that He has already prepared for us.
A Declaration of Faith
By the power in the name of Jesus, I decree that your Kingdom benefits are released and reassured unto you starting now. Every temptation to cause you to stumble or disobey God will fail to find traction in your life. I declare that every element of God’s creation will work in your favor to ensure you remain a faithful heir of His Kingdom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
