Christ, The Hope Of All

Focus: Romans 15:13 - KJV

13. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:8-13

Everything that God had done from the very beginning through the times of the fathers and all their prophesies were about the manifestation of Christ for the ransom of the entire mankind – not the Jews alone, nor the Greek, but everyone that comes to His light. It is the mind of God from the time Eve was deceived, that through Christ, man shall be redeemed.  The hope of redemption for all men is a basis for joy and peace having the confidence that in spite of all, we are no longer condemned to death for the sin we inherited from Adam but, rather, we are now grafted into the family of God and prepared for eternal glory. This is a blessed hope for which all concerned ought to be joyful.

In the minds of all the direct descendants of Abraham, heaven is reserved only for the children of Abraham because he is the one that was blessed of God. To the offspring of Ishmael, they are the firstborn with the entitlement to inherit the blessings of Abraham. To the offspring of Jacob (without consideration for them that are of Esau), Isaac was the child of promise and the blessing which Abraham passed to him was released upon Jacob and thereby, themselves. For all they care, salvation is for the Jews. Meanwhile, in the mind of God, every soul belongs to Him and none ought to perish. Hence, He put together a joker to dumbfound the enemy to the extent that whoever receives and accepts Christ, is translated from death to life already, no matter the race, to the effect that Christ in you is the hope of glory. Not Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob or any other, but Christ.

Those who hinge on to Christ operate in blessed hope. Hence the Almighty Himself is directing our attention to this blessed fact today, that we may put our focus on Christ and not those distractions that are borne out of the doctrines of the fathers which tend to shift our focus from Christ into the activities of others who are not responsible for our salvation. Let us therefore strive to have and retain in ourselves Christ, who is the hope of our glory, which hope is for all men, as many as believe in Him, devoid of race, creed or color.
