Don’t Refuse The Voice of God

Focus: Hebrews 12:25 - KJV

25. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Exodus 19:16-25

In the days of Moses, the Bible records that God came down upon Mt. Sinai and spoke that He was heard. But only Moses and Aaron were permitted to come unto the mountain as a boundary was built to prevent every other from coming anywhere nearby. The Mt. visibly bore fire and smoke because of the presence of God. Anyone that disobeyed the voice was put to death. He spoke then on earth and they that refused to obey were exterminated without escape. Question now is: since God is the same yesterday, and today and forever, as He speaks to us now from heaven can we escape if we reject His voice and do things contrary to it? It is important we listen and hearken diligently to the voice of God to observe and to do as He commands for truly, He is a Consuming Fire.

Please pause to recheck your “to do” list for today. If there are items that are against the voice of God, do note that danger looms. To obey is better than sacrifice. Let not your action of today debar your glory of the morrow. Focus on the waiting crown. Trust and obey the voice that is calling out to you from heaven.

SOLUTION: Be attentive to the voice of the Lord. Be diligent in doing what He directs. don’t deviate from it in any manner. Let God be God in your life.

Father, help me to stick to your voice and obey you from now on in Jesus’ name. Please forgive my past disobedience and help to keep me in tune with your voice by your Spirit in the name of Jesus. By your help, I will never refuse your voice again.
