God Introduced

Focus: Jeremiah 32:26-27 KJV: Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Our God responds to human doubt by declaring His absolute, limitless sovereignty over humanity ("the God of all flesh"). He poses a rhetorical question that carries a definitive answer: no matter how impossible, complicated, or dead a situation appears to human eyes, absolutely nothing is too difficult for God to resolve, create, or restore.

Sarah was 90 years old, well past the biological age of childbearing, and had been barren her entire life. When an angel announced that she would finally give birth to a son, she laughed internally out of sheer disbelief. Sensing her doubt, God asked the exact same rhetorical question found in our focal scripture. Right on schedule, God overrode biological law. Sarah became pregnant and gave birth to Isaac, proving that what is entirely impossible for human flesh is effortlessly possible for God.

God is not limited by your natural limitations. When you look at your age, your finances, or your current obstacles and conclude that a situation is too far gone, God looks at the exact same scenario and asks, "Is there anything too hard for me?" Shift your focus off the size of your problem and anchor your faith onto the absolute power of the Creator. God will arise for your sake today and that seeming impossibility will be actualized for your true laughter and celebration.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you because I know you will neither leave me nor forsake me. Let me have a visitation from your angels today that will turn around lingering promises into real manifestation. Let every lip that has mocked me come to rejoice with me. Let your name be glorified in my life and over my problems even now, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
