Looking generally at the world, one finds that there is really no one to trust. Because of the terrible state of the hearts of men, it is difficult to put trust in any man as they lack the capacity to love except by the help of God. No wonder, after having gone through desertion and heavy disappointment, the Psalmist sang and said, I will look unto the hills from where comes my help? My help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. The world is full of betrayers and backstabbers. The very person you assume will rescue you in time of need may be the biggest tool in the hands of Satan against your wellbeing.
Are you experiencing a letdown or betrayal from friends, relatives, colleagues or acquaintances? Please don’t let it weigh you down. Unless a man be truly regenerated, the works he brings forth are desperately wicked. They act without having deep thoughts of the consequences of their actions. Therefore, it is important for you as a believer to do the work of the Evangelist so that the kingdom of darkness may be depleted and the Kingdom of God enlarged to reduce the number of the wicked on the face of the earth. Meanwhile, if for any reason, you are under any form of pressure of life, please look unto God for help. Once He knows you look up to Him, He will arise on your behalf for His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
When you rely on God for help, He will cut off all the strangers that have risen against you and the oppressors that seek your soul; He will reward evil unto your enemies and deliver you out of all troubles. Truth is, there is none who can confront the Lord who is described as the Man of War. Therefore, your help is guaranteed no matter the challenge. But you must first place reliance on the Lord as a genuine child or son of God. Are you?
Pray:
Father, I thank you for the salvation of my soul. I look up to you, my Helper: the enemies have risen against me and seek to oppress my soul, please arise and put them all to flight today that I may be fully delivered from their oppression in the mighty name of Jesus.
