God Our Restorer

Focus: Job 42:12 KJV: So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

Our God specializes in double-portion restoration. No matter how catastrophic our losses, heartbreaks, or trials may be, God can orchestrate a comeback where the final chapters of our life ("the latter end") are far more blessed, fruitful, and prosperous than our original baseline.

Job lost absolutely everything overnight. Sabean and Chaldean raiders stole his livestock, a violent supernatural wind killed all ten of his children, and a painful disease covered his body in agonizing boils. He was left sitting in ashes, completely broken. Job refused to curse God, maintaining his integrity and even praying for his critical friends. God completely broke the captivity. God literally doubled his original wealth—giving him double of everything he lost, including children and a long, joyful life.

Your current losses do not dictate your final destination. The enemy wants you to look at what you’ve lost and assume your story is over. But if you hold fast to your faith and trust the process, God can turn your deepest testing ground into a launching pad for a double-portion blessing that completely outshines your past. Keep your focus on God and not your losses. The restoration is imminent.

Prayer:

Thank you, father for preserving my life and not allowing the enemy to snuff it out. I put my hope absolutely in you for glory. From this day, let the restoration of all the years the devourer has eaten from me begin without fail. Let the restoration be double and over to the chagrin of my detractors, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Please share. God bless you.
