God sees you

Memorize: Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Read: 2 Kings 21:1-20

Jezebel was a woman who supported her husband the king of Israel to achieve whatever gave him joy during his reign. The husband loved splendor and would rather enlarge his territorial domain by acquiring choice adjoining properties to add to his sprawling estate. Incidentally, Naboth’s ancestral vineyard adjoined the king’s land. The king sought to righteously acquire the vineyard but Naboth was not keen on depriving his later generations of the vineyard and so declined to part with it. The countenance of the king changed to the knowledge of his manipulative wife. The wife would not have it that the king with all his power could not have what he wished within his territory. So, she made a plan that made the people to come up with a terrible plot that condemned Naboth even though he did nothing wrong. Alas, for being a righteous person, Naboth got executed by the king’s wife. The king, joyfully took over the vineyard after the demise of the owner.

But God does not die! He sees all our actions from the conception thereof. He accosted Ahab, the beneficiary of the plot and judged him. Beloved, does this narrative depict any of your actions or near it? Why must you acquire at the detriment of another? Sin appears sweet when it is being committed. But the end of it brings sour and bitter taste combined. There is nothing sweet about sin. It is the railroad to destruction. Whatever you get through manipulations (whether yours or another’s) can never last. There is nothing you need that God cannot give to you if it meets with His will for your life.

It hurts God when you hurt your neighbor to fulfill your lust. The Lord is asking you to halt that negative action right where you got it to and repent before it is too late. I assure you God can see every of your move: the initial evil and the repentance unto good works, if only you will heed His call. Manipulation is the spirit of witchcraft. Please desist.

Pray:

Father Lord, please forgive every move of mine that I made in manipulation of the destiny of others. I am sorry. I look up to you for your assistance to live straight and upright going forward. This I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
