12. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
Jeremiah 31:28
The promises of God are Yea and in Him, Amen. Whenever the Lord gives His word, it is as good as done. For instance, when the Lord said to us at the closing of the last year that the new year shall be a year of better life, we believe Him and cling to it for we know it is settled in heaven and therefore, already done. But when a promise thus come and someone still doubts the truism or otherwise of God’s word, it is such a fellow that would miss out on the promise. God is too just to deny Himself.
There was crass famine throughout Samaria that brought everyone to their knees. The Syrians had laid a siege at the gate of the city that no one could go out or in. Commerce was at a standstill and people were turning into cannibals. Then the word of the Lord came through Elisha announcing that all things would become surplus in twenty-four hours. It was a hard thing to believe considering the glaring situation at hand, but knowing the one who spoke the people did not argue, save for the minister in charge of the economy. He called God a liar. Alas, surplus happened quickly as prophesied, but the minister did see the surplus but could not taste of it as he was trampled under feet.
The Lord is saying to us that His promises to us this year shall be brought to performance quickly, if we will believe Him and hold on thereto. No matter what we may be seeing in the physical realm, our God is saying it cannot stop His hands from performing that which He has spoken of. Let us therefore stand in the promise of God and see the manifestation according to His word, exactly.

In the name that is above every other name, every famine ravaging your life and family will give way for surplus before the rising of the next sun, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every enemy at your gate causing you to fear and tremble shall hear a noise that will put them to flight today, in the name of Jesus. In fact, every spoil of war that belong to the enemy shall be converted to you by reason of their flight in terror, in the name of Jesus.
Please share with others. God bless you.
