Intensify Efforts For Souls

Focus: Acts 20:31 - KJV

31. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Acts 19:8-10

All over the world, many see the purveyors of the Gospel as their foes. The devil has so poured out the spirit of deception amongst men to make them feel odd about the Gospel of the light. The preachers themselves are not preaching the truth but majorly heresies and things they think the people seek to hear, weaponizing hunger to gather people together to tickle their fancy about popularity and performance. Unless we take time to teach the truth about the Gospel of light, many more will be deceived to follow Mammon and his boss, believing they are following Christ. The Lord has sent us out to correct the wrong deliveries that the devil may be put to shame.

The passion of Paul for souls made him to speak tersely to the Ephesian elders despite the danger lurking around him from the Jews. For three years, day and night he was ministering just so that the Church would be strengthened against the grievous wolves that were wont to come into the midst and the persecution that may eventually deter the elders if they were not adequately prepared. He went from place to place not countenancing the safety of his life as he counted it unworthy but sought only to finish well in God’s assignment. The fellow was in every city forewarned by the Holy Spirit about chains awaiting him and yet could not be bothered.

If we must not put the works of the fathers of faith to a waste, we need to honestly awake from our slumber as dangerous wolves are already in the midst. Even when they know they are wrong, they defend their wrong convictions with venomous lies at the expense of the souls that listen to them. Unless the genuine elders arise to burn the flame of the Gospel for many more hearts to get aglow in it, soon people will get utterly confused about their belief and take Mammon and the tradition of the fathers for the ways of God, which ways Christ clearly spoke against. Arise therefore, dear believer and do that which the Master has commanded, learn the word, meditate on it and preach it, in season and out of season.

Father, I thank you for finding me as an instrument for setting the records straight so that your saints may not be misled in these end times. I plead for your help in this assignment so that I may never fall prey of the ravenous wolves pretending to be part of your sheep, in Jesus’ name. Please give me the boldness to do your will and your will alone like you emboldened Paul, in Jesus’ name. And every soul in wickedness that may want to seek to hurt us for the truth we are revealing, please expose, disgrace and take them away from our paths in Jesus’ name.
