31. And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
Luke 19:29-35
The Lord is still in the habit of seeking the colt to ride, just like in the days of His sojourn on earth. This time, unlike the donkey’s colt, He seeks men who would appear like little children who are currently restrained by the devil, who incidentally is their owner. He is still sending His disciples out to go and get such colts for Him to ride on. No colt’s master is able to reject the message of the Master as not to release the colt. But the disciples must of necessity first go and locate the colt to untie him.
The beauty of being Jesus’ colt is that the same will be decorated for the Lord to ride on. When the Lord rides on us, He brings with Him the Godhead bodily, to do so. Not only that, He brings also the entirety of the power over the creations, to do so. The woman with the issue of blood did not get the opportunity of being sat upon: she merely touched the helm of His garment. Compare her case to that of someone upon whom He rests bodily. It is assured that Jesus’ colt not only gets decorated, he carries power and recognition all around town.
The Lord wants all of us, His disciples to do more for the sake of the kingdom by going forth to locate the colts and untying them for His use. Everyone who is currently tied down and prevented from making progress because they are under the lordship of a wicked master, the Lord invites to stop being a stubborn ass but a gentle colt that He may ride on them. They are colts when they accept the conviction of the Holy Spirit like little children and take on the yoke of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Please pray:
Thank you, Lord for the little you have done through me in untying colts for your use. Please give me greater enablement to bring more unto you than ever before in Jesus’ name. Let the power in your word never depart from my mouth so that when I tell the colt’s owner ‘The Lord has need of [him]’, there will be instant release, in Jesus’ name. Please order my feet to the streets where the colts are tied, that I may deliver your message there, in Jesus’ name. As many as are still tied down, let them become convicted today that they may become gentle and available for you to ride on, in Jesus’ name. Let our rewards be sure for our labor in your vineyard with signs and wonders following from today, in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
