So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Message:
There is a belief by many that once you confess Jesus as Lord and Savior eternity with God is guaranteed fully. This belief has made many to live life in a more disdainful way than when they were yet unbelievers and thereby put themselves in the danger of judgment and hell. There is a requirement that after taking the benefit of Christ we “look for Him”. Looking for Him connotes seeking Him, looking unto Him and/or living by Him. Christ is the one who lived on earth without a blemish or offense towards God. That is why the One who knows the end from the beginning said of Him at His baptism, ‘this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased’. The essence of our being also is to please God. Until we attain the stature of the fullness of Christ to the extent that heaven and men see Christ in us, we are not pleasing to God. The truth is if any counts Christ not to be worthy of him, then will Christ also at His second appearing count the same not to be worthy of Him. That is why He said if you deny Him before men, He would deny you before the father and His holy angels. If you must be pleasing to God and see Christ at His appearing, then you must determine henceforth to look for Christ alone! Let the test for your thoughts, speech and action be “would Christ have done the same if He was here now?” and “Will Christ approve or accept this from me when He appears?”. Only this and the ability to hold your own in the face of persecution and tribulation otherwise will see you through.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to be like you in all my ways: help me to emulate you fully that I may reign with you in the end in the name of Jesus Christ.
