Our Sanctification

ree

Focus: Hebrews 2:11 - KJV

11. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Hebrews 10:10-29

Sanctification connotes the process by which a person is set apart for God’s purpose, by becoming more holy and Christ-like through the work of the Holy Spirit. The process involves the direct act of Christ through the blood which He shed for the ransom of man; the one that is to be sanctified who is expected to believe in the work of Christ and the completion thereof, by the blood; and finally, the Holy Spirit whom Christ has released upon them that believe that they might be guided through Him into Christ-likeness. It is that the believer begins to dwell in Christ supernaturally, and the Holy Spirit in turn, begin to dwell in him. Hence, there is no separating the believer from the Son, and therefore, they twine, become joint heirs of the father.

The things of the Kingdom are not easily decipherable or comprehensible unto mere minds. Nonetheless, the Lord has decided to simplify them for us all, through the mouth of babes. Nicodemus was a leader of the Jews but had no part in the Kingdom, just like neither Simon called Peter and the other Eleven prior to being affirmed as believers. They all saw Christ manifesting the Kingdom by His good deeds and it marveled them all. Then a time came when Jesus breathed on the disciples telling them to receive the Holy Spirit, and once they believed, they went out and returned with Kingdom type testimonies of demons bowing to them. They were no more like Nicodemus as the one who sent them out, had given unto them the similar grace He carried.

Believing in Christ translates the ordinary being to an extraordinary person. The ordinary mortal is suddenly transformed into a supernatural person having been located in Christ Jesus, and is led by the Holy Spirit. The Lord is telling us to come to that turf today so as to be joint heirs indeed with Christ and have Him call us His brothers and sisters. Such will not happen unless we allow the Holy Spirit to direct our paths through sanctification. A sanctified vessel is holy and found fit by heaven, for the Master’s use. No filthy vessel qualifies for the Master’s use. Shed the filth. Take your filthy garments back to the laundry room for clear sanctification. The Lord is at hand.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for the grace to be identified as one of your believers. Whatever it is that will cause me to be locked out when you shall arrive, please help me by your grace to cleanse the same today by your blood, in the name of Jesus. At your appearing, please do not let me be found wanting; keep me qualified to be among those you will call your brethren in the end, in Jesus’ name. All that I have labored for in you, please do not let it come to naught in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
