Pray For The Disciples Of God

Focus: 2 Corinthians 1:11 - KJV

11. Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

2 Corinthians 1:8-11

Indeed, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord sees them through it all. Left for the enemy, there should be no one spreading the truth about God so that the whole world may stand deceived. For the Lord to keep saving the righteous preachers, there is need for those who partake of the blessings of their grace to keep them fervently in prayer, so as not to fall into damnation in the hands of the enemy. The enemy is relentless in his mission to wipe out the truth. The faithful should never relent in praying unto God for constant reprieve and assistance for the preachers.

From the Bible, very many religious books have been extracted appearing like the word of God but without the truth that sets free from the bondage of sin and death. From Judaism to Islam and what have you, all the religious books have their founding in the compilation called the Bible, without of course, the New Testament. The effect is that morality is found strongly in what was extracted, and not godliness. Hence, like Cornelius, those who rely on such extractions may appear absolutely moral but are lacking in one thing, which was what the Lord sent Peter to deliver to Cornelius and his household. Godliness is spiritual. The letters of the word without the Spirit thereof leads to death, ultimately. This the devil knows and is all out to prevent many from hearing the truth.

The Lord is inviting us to be more prayerful even as we intercede for the preachers of the Good News, wherever they are found. When we pray for them, they will not be allowed to come to extinction and the truth will continue to be on earth until Christ returns. If we fail in this duty, there is likely to be an overrun to the extent that soon, the truth will not be allowed to be preached anywhere on earth again. The enemy is determined to actualize that; we should be more determined to ensure that the will of God prevails instead, by sustaining the preachers in prayer so that believers may continue to multiply.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for always answering me. Please, like you shielded seven thousand brethren from destruction in the days of Elijah, keep everyone that preaches and operates in the truth safe from the fangs of the enemy, in Jesus’ name. Keep them from the sorrows in tribulation and make them strong to withstand persecution till they triumph, in Jesus’ name. Put every preacher above the power of the devil, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
