1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Luke 13:6-9
The mind of every investor is to make a profit from his investment. When there is no profiting, the investor is ordinarily pissed and would love to get the situation corrected to forestall a repeat performance. Jesus Christ described Himself as the Vine and His father, the husbandman. The Vine has defined boundaries and the husbandman seeks to optimize the sphere that makes for the Vine’s boundaries. Hence, when other things cumber the ground in the vine that are not intended, (like weeds, for instance) it is the place of the husbandman to root the same out so that it takes not space, unnecessarily.
Every believer is a planting in the Lord: we are His workmanship. The believer that brings forth fruit is yielding result and would be aided to perform better. Those who refuse to bring forth fruit are looked upon as encumbrance and sought to be uprooted to create space for others to enlarge. It is possible for the vine to want them dunged perhaps they may change. The dunging is the unpalatable situations they are allowed to go through. Those who decide to bear fruit thereby survive and those who do not are cast out and into the fire, eventually. They are not worthy of the Vine.
God is saying to us today that many would be replaced in the vine if they continue to fail to produce good fruit. They are taking up space unnecessarily. We have seen many dead who, ordinarily, are assumed to be rooted in Christ. There are many today who people assume are rooted but are not, and are being dunged of God currently, per adventure, they will have a change of heart and do the will of the father. Ironically, many of them do not know His will but pretend they do, thereby continuing to displeass Him and cumbering the ground for nothing. It is time to do a thorough reexamination so as to be retained.
Please pray:
Father, I thank you for making me a part of your Vine. Please keep me fresh and productive in the Vine forever, in Jesus’ name. Let me never be like the fig tree that had lush leaves but no fruit, O Lord. Make me fruitful by your power, in Jesus’ name. Let it be that my blossoming will translate always to fruitfulness, dear father, in Jesus’ name. And this day, Papa, let my fruit begin to manifest for all to see in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
