Trust in the Lord

Focus: Psalms 4:5 - KJV

5. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

1 Kings 18:20-39

Whenever the Lord promises to do something, He expects the faithful to act in trust. Yesterday, the Lord promised to do a wonder today. Wait for it. But we have a part to play. Believing we all obeyed the instruction to be sanctified, on the fateful day that Israel was to cross the Jordan, all that needed to be done was for the bearers of the Ark to step their feet into the Jordan which was the obstacle. Once they obeyed, without having seen or heard that the Jordan parted before, they saw the wonder. No one had observed fire fall from heaven before the contest on Mount Carmel between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Yet Elijah had trust in God and presented a righteous sacrifice before God. So that it would not be viewed as fluke, he asked that water and not fuel be poured on the sacrifice and on the altar he had built for God. What happened next was a great wonder that converted many unto the worship of the living God. Today is the day that the Lord has made. Nevertheless, the wonder of God is available only unto those who trust Him.

Are you ready to operate in the wonder the Lord promised you for today? If you are, the first thing to do is, since you are already sanctified, offer God the sacrifice of praise in righteousness for thirty minutes today. Once you are done, that very thing that terrifies you is what you should step up into and see God come through for you in a wonderful way. Aside this, TODAY, God is doing something great in a clime that will make many marvel and fear God for He is a wonder working God.

SOLUTION: The just shall live by faith and if thou wouldest believe, you will see the salvation (wonder) of the Lord. Just believe. Trust God to prove Himself today and He sure will.

In the name that is above every other name, that same God whom Elijah called and answered by fire, will do great wonder in your life today. That wonder will make everyone want to serve your God in Jesus’ name. Every obstacle standing between you and your promised land shall give way for you to go into the fulfilment of your destiny in the name of Jesus Christ. You are entering the new month in style and with a new song in your mouth. Hallelujah!!!
