Wholeness Through Faith

Wholeness Through Faith
Wholeness Through Faith

Focus: Mark 10:52 - KJV

52. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Mark 10:46-52

Faith is crucial to walking with God. Without it, there is no pleasing God. In actual fact, a lack of faith is the denial of the existence of God, and unless we acknowledge His existence and Almightiness, we cannot understand to whom the glory of our achievements should go. Many do not get the benefits of the Kingdom of God, because they ascribe to God what He is not, even though they are looked upon as belonging to the fold. Those who do attempt to praise and honor Him do it majorly with lip service with their hearts being far from Him, thereby denying His being. Such will not draw anything from the treasury of heaven.

Bartimaeus was blind physically; but his heart was enlightened. He heard that Jesus was passing by, even though he could not see Him, yet, with all that he had, he acknowledged Christ and called Him by His praise name, saying, thou son of David, which in itself carried a deeper meaning that what was said. It did not matter the extent of opposition against his approach, he caught the attention of the Lord and he was asked to make his petition, and it was granted instantly because of his faith. Someone will this day attract the attention of God, who will request for the same’s petition and grant it instantly, in Jesus’ name.

The Lord is looking out for those who will give Him the right praise without necessarily seeing or touching Him. Such praise that will attract His attention and cause Him to pause His works to attend to such a person, will not come from mere lips but must originate from the heart of someone who knows that God is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Others thronged Jesus on the day Bartimaeus exercised his faith, but because they did not do the same, they got nothing. If only we will learn the true being of God and praise Him in the manner that befits, then will the Lord cause all in existence to stand still for us to first be attended to.

Please pray:

Lord, I thank you for the knowledge I have of you, which has formed faith in me about your person and your immeasurable capabilities. I look up to you today that I may know more of you, so that I may never ascribe your glory to any other being. Help me to develop deep faith in you from the inside so that I may never be denied access to the heavenly treasury, no matter the opposition on earth, in the name of Jesus. For my sake, silence every opposition to my request, desire and purpose in you, today, that my longstanding request that had kept my head bowed may receive your attention right now, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
