Key verse: Psalms 34:4-5
4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
Matthew 17:1-5
Man is yet to come to the full understanding of the essence of his being. When God had to redeem the earth from formlessness and voidness, it was that the cherub that covereth had covered the glory of the earth with his darkness. When God said “let there be Light” and there was Light, the light was not that of the sun but of the Sun of Righteousness. That cherub has always been on earth since he was cast out and he remains there now. So, when God told Adam, the day you eat of the fruit of this tree you will die, what He was saying in essence is “I am the One that give you life and sustain you through my Light. If you refuse my voice, it means you assume you can survive by yourself and you do not need me and therefore I will turn my face away from you. The result of that is for the cherub that covereth to return over you and the only thing that means is calamity through and through.”
Therefore, when anyone realizes himself as needing God and seeks Him, the Lord comes through for the same through the Sun of Righteousness who breaks down the covering of the cherub. When the same looks unto the Lord, his face becomes lightened and his shame is blotted away by the purity in the Light coming from the Holy One. For instance, the covering cherub put a man in impotence for thirty-eight years and made sure every helper of destiny was far from him. But one day, the Sun of Righteousness broke the covering of the cherub and lightened his face by taking away his shame.
Every issue of darkness you are experiencing are the effect of the activities of the cherub that covereth. The antidote which he can never resist is the Sun of Righteousness. The beauty of life is that that same Sun is the One seeking you to brighten up. He is inviting unto Himself all that labor and heavy ladened, under the bondage of the evil cherub, He assures you rest from shame. Three of His Apostles went with Him to a mountain and saw the real Sun shine for the first time and were astonished. You too can be so astonished today if you will look unto Him. Your shame shall be removed today if you do.
Pray: Father, I lift my eyes unto you O Lord, please brighten me up and take away every effect of the evil cherub from my life by taking my shame away today in Jesus name.
