Acts 17:5-7
The greatest challenge to curing the earth of darkness is with those who claim to know God, having received some teaching about God but not taking the pain to get deep in the knowledge of Him. Indeed, the understanding of God is unsearchable, and so says the scripture. Nevertheless, these ones have so promoted themselves to levels of knowledge beyond any other. They become envious and engage in deadly activities towards anyone that appear to exhibit knowledge beyond the end of their understanding. The particular point is, they fail to accept that only Jesus Christ is the way. Hence, when some others come with exposition based on the doctrine of Christ, they get filled with indignation and move vehemently against the same.
They did the same to Christ Himself and the first generation of the disciples. Even Christ warned us that we, as His servants, are not greater than Himself: if they did it to Him, they would do it to us. In the circumstance, we are not to engage in strife with them. Rather, please pray God to uphold us like He did those that went before us, so that every attempt to put us in dungeon would fail and we may remain free to spread the light of the Gospel, the truth of the word of God, as we are raised to do. Paul and Barnabas were conscripted, based on such indignations, but they never stopped. Jason was taken and lied against, yet he did not quit. Let us therefore be strengthened in our inner man to rid the world of darkness by continuing to shine the light of the Gospel, despite the indignation.
Beloved, are you being persecuted because of your faith and the truth you carry? Just hang on to Christ: He promised never to leave or forsake us. Believe Him to fulfil His promise. No matter what the enemy may do, victory is assured as the Lord will always make for you, a way of escape. This very day, God will show forth in your affairs to ensure that the light that you shine is never put off. Whatever you do, please do not confront them that are filled with indignation; rather, do all you can to win them over to the truth, by exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit through which you are built.
SOLUTION: Please be careful for them that full of indignation against you because of your faith. In all that you do, endeavor to make the light of the word you carry pure and undeniable to all that hear you. When even the people with indignation hear you, they may be pricked by their conscience, if they still have any, to yield to God. All in all, please pray as you continue in the truth of the word.
Please pray: Father, please keep me firmly in your word never to be dissuaded by the indignation of the wicked, in the name of Jesus. Help me to win more souls to you by the instrumentality of the truth in your word in Jesus’ name.
Kindly share with others if you have been blessed by this Guide. God bless you as you do so, in Jesus' name.
