Fire Is Prepared For The Wicked

Focus:2 Thessalonians 1:8 - KJV

8. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Malachi 4:1-2

A wicked person is someone who fails to acknowledge his God in this life. He is wicked in that despite all the Lord did to bring him into being, preserve him from infancy to adulthood, invest in men to try to draw him away from the devil and destruction, release Himself to die that he may live, continue to ask the father to give him time to change, and yet refuse to acknowledge the same God. For such a being, the Lord is going to prevent the same from being with Himself and the alternative is to be with the devil. Incidentally, there is a place prepared for the devil and his angels. It is the place of fire. The wicked that votes for being with the devil invariably votes for fire and that, he would get.

One of the ways by which Christ identifies the wicked is in disobedience to His command. He has commanded that we love our neighbors as ourselves. He has stated that those who fail to feed the hungered do so to Himself and are in disobedience of His command and therefore wicked. He has said He would disown such people and release them to their father the devil in the place of fire that is prepared for the devil and his angels. On the other hand, He said there is a place of joy prepared for those who obey and also, that He would joyfully welcome them in.

God is saying, the totality of Christ’s command is love. Everyone that loves is of God and will be lovingly pampered in the end. But those who fail to love are disobedient and will end up in fire. God is enjoining us to switch permanently to love and never take our dial therefrom, if we must reign with Christ in the end and not end up in fire.

Because the fire is made for the devil and his angels and you are not one of them, everything that will be done to prevent you from going there, heaven will release further for your sake in Jesus’ name. From today, the grace to live in obedience to Christ by operating in love, receive in Jesus’ name. And in the end, nothing shall prevent you from reigning with Christ in Jesus’ name.
