Stop Denying Christ

Focus: Matthew 10:33 - KJV

33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 13:22-28

It is possible for people to claim to be Christian and yet be in denial of Christ. Indeed, there are many who profess Christ today but are in full denial of His person or being. A refusal to obey and follow the ways of Christ is a denial of Him. His promise is to deny anyone that denies Him. A lot will be wondering how many will be able to make it to the end in the circumstance. Everyone that does the will of the father acknowledges Christ, and shall be presented to the father. Those that do not shall not be accorded recognition by Christ, neither will they be presented to the father.

In the parable of the virgins that Jesus spoke of, the ten of them being virgins is akin to what we call “Christians” today. Incidentally, like it is amongst Christians, half of the bunch that were informed to await the coming of the bridegroom were foolish. Their foolishness led them to stepping out at the most critical moment in search of what they should have had in preparation to meet the groom. And since they were outside, they had denied the groom and he could no longer recognize them. They had become to him, workers of iniquity and could not be accorded a pride of place by the bridegroom. So shall Christ deny everyone that lives in denial of Him.

The clock is ticking and the Lord is saying it is the state in which Christ meets us when He comes that is material. Those in denial shall be denied, while those who are found standing in Him shall be accepted. Those rejected shall have their place in outer darkness where there will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. But the accepted shall have their place in eternity in glory, by Him. There will be no more weeping or mourning over there; no more darkness but light perpetual as the sun shall no longer give us light there but we shall obtain our light from the presence of God. Will you be among?

Whatever will cause you to deny Christ at any time is cursed for your sake and will never come to being in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord shall count you worthy in the end and you will never be outside in Jesus’ name. From now on, your steps shall be ordered of the Lord so that you may not step out of the way of Christ in Jesus’ name. The voice of being worker of iniquity shall never be directed at you, in Jesus’ name.
