Glorify God alone!

Focus: Psalms 115:1 - KJV

1. Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

Psalms 127:1-2

There is a basic fact that should not be lost to man. God is the author of life. Nothing happens besides Him. When good things are portioned to a person, those things are ordered and ordained by God. When evil is to happen to a person, the evil one cannot proceed on such enterprise to succeed in it unless the Lord moves away to give him the way. There are forces of light and also of darkness operating all around. Some people are not so righteous in their doings but enjoy the kindness of God, perhaps because of the good deeds of their forebears. For a long time God preserved Judah for the sake of David. Hence, it is foolhardy for anyone who has success in life or any endeavor to assume it is because he is solid in any part of life that same is happening to him. It is that the Lord has decided to crown his activities with success. For, except the Lord builds the house they labor in vain that build it. When the Lord shows forth in any endeavor, He causes the same to multiply in success.

For those success stories you have had; for all the near mishaps turned gloriously around; for the “nothing happened” stories you have to tell and so on and so forth, you need to appreciate the fact that there is a force behind the real happenings. The one that has made a clean slate happen to you is the one that deserves praise. He alone should be glorified.

SOLUTION: For God to take you as one who appreciates His kindness, why not take a time out today to just give praises unto God. Who is God to you? Mention that to Him and let Him know how you know and take Him, the I Am.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as you accord God alone glory for the happenings in your life, God will show forth the more for you in all that pertains to you. No devil shall be able to make your head bowed in Jesus name. You shall never experience a down season any more in Jesus name. Sing of His glory forever.
