The Power of Divine Discernment

Focus: Ezekiel 44:23 (KJV)"And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean."

Ezekiel 22:25-26

The Priority of Purity

In a world often muddled by confusion and subtle deceptions, God’s call to His people is clear: we must be able to distinguish between what is sacred and what is secular. The "pillar of light" and the "pillar of darkness" are the two opposing forces governing human affairs. Without a sharp sense of discernment, it is impossible to truly appreciate the value of choosing the light or to stay aligned with God's will.

Learning to Choose Rightly

Discernment is not just an instinct; it is a taught skill and a spiritual discipline. Throughout His ministry, Jesus constantly showed His followers how to choose the path of life over the path of destruction. We see the consequences of these choices in the lives of Gehazi, whose lack of discernment led to his downfall, and Elisha, who discerned the true value of his master's spirit and received a double portion of power.

The Believer’s Assignment

As "salt of the earth," our divine mission is to heal the moral decay of our world by modeling and teaching this same discernment. By helping others differentiate between the holy and the profane, we can sweep away wickedness and bring others into the light of holiness. This requires us to be grounded in sound doctrine and a lifestyle that reflects the character of Christ.

A Blessing of Insight

In the mighty name of Jesus, receive the grace to operate in the perfect will of God. May your words and actions teach others the beauty of doing good. I decree that every resource you need to share sound doctrine is released to you today. You shall never be caught in error or fables; instead, you will stand firm in judgment and divine discernment all your days, in Jesus’ name. Amen
