Isaiah 49:16-17
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. 17 Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
Read: Exodus 14:15-25
When you do have the Lord of Hosts as your God, you need not panic at all over the one roaring against you like a lion because you have an assurance of the protection of your great Ally. The Lord is mighty.
When the earth is viewed from an outer hemisphere within the Lord’s universe, it appears like a little jot. To those who live on it, the earth is a big sphere. But to God, it is only a little substance because it can only hold one foot of the Lord as a stool. That suggests how mighty our God is. This is the One who has your back against all your adversaries. He says you are engraved in the palm of his hand. That, so that you won’t fall off in any circumstance.
When Pharaoh and the hosts of Egypt terrorized Israel after their release, Moses cried to God. But God could not fathom his worry since He had them engraved upon the palms of His hands. So, He asked that they be commanded to move forward and the unthinkable happened: God made a way where there was no way and made those who sought their death to die before them. For a user of this guide, God is saying to you: “I have you covered in the palm of my hand. Fear not”. From hence, God will make a way for you where there was no way before; and all those who seek your hurt shall go forth of you in that which they plotted in Jesus name.
All this because you are engraved in the palm of God’s hand. But are you? As general as the promises sound, they are directed only at those who have themselves engraved by God in the palm of His hands. If you are not, you may be part of those in the other camp without knowing. Why wait until you are consumed? Change over to God’s side today and you will also be so engraved in His palm and henceforth enjoy His protection. Act now.
Pray:
Father, I thank you for engraving me in the palm of your hand. Please continue to keep me away from the snare of the fowlers and the noisome pestilence as well as the enemies that seek my hurt in Jesus name.
