God’s Speed

ree

Focus: Genesis 27:20 - KJV

20. And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.

Genesis 24:1-20

The race of life is not to the swift nor is it to the mighty, it is time and chance that make many to excel therein. Whilst some are struggling in search of solution to present issues, others have the solution dropped on their laps for no mean fete. The difference is the hand of the Lord. Those who do get the results without much ado have put their care in the hands of the Lord and therefore, get divine and supernatural help in their affairs. Those who do not have such help are not so quick in getting the matters sorted. It does not really matter what the perception of men is about the person receiving divine assistance; the bottom-line is simply that he gets assisted.

Isaac sought to pass his generational blessing on to his son, Esau. While Esau went about hunting for the desired meat to trigger the blessing, Jacob got assistance in the house and gave the meat within record time that made even his father marvel. When Eleazar of Damascus was to seek a bride for Isaac, the man asked God to get involved and what he sought became an easy get for him. A time was when the sons of the prophet lost the axe head which was borrowed and they invited Elisha to help. The axe head that sunk into a well floated through the instrumentality of a wood. What they had been sweating over, became an easy catch.

The Lord is saying to us that time and chance can work for us also if we place our affairs in the hands of our God. Rather than keep on striving like Peter who toiled all night and caught nothing, we can actually put all things in God’s hand and see the speed of extraordinary performance. No matter how difficult the situation may seem, let us invite God into it and see the difference. With God, nothing shall be impossible.

Please pray:

Father, I thank you for being always available for me and to me. Let me find favor in your sight always that I may constantly operate in your speed in every facet of my life, in Jesus’ name. From this day, I receive the grace to mount up with wings like an eagle that I may be above my pears in all endeavors, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
