Focus: Jude 1:24-25 - KJV
24. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Psalms 91:1-16
The mind of God is that no one should perish but come to repentance and be saved. When anyone perishes, it disheartens the Lord. For it is for such a soul that He set His glory apart to die in ransom for. If the same then is eventually destroyed, the sacrifice made for his soul becomes a waste and God hates waste. So, when we come to the Lord, He ensures that he keeps us close to Himself to forestall our falling. To fall is to relapse into darkness. Darkness is a terrible situation. Everyone that has tasted the bliss in the light knows the difference between the two. The torture in darkness is petrifying and damning. It is a great work that the Lord does to keep us from falling. Because He will not deny Himself, He cannot stick anyone who is filthy. Therefore, He makes sure we are without fault by guiding and guarding us by His Spirit. This keeps us clean and blameless in His presence. In effect, every time it appears we are scaling over temptations, it is actually the Lord that is at work keeping us from falling. If we however do fall, it is because we have yielded our souls completely to lust. Yet, the Lord does not leave us comfortless. He makes all effort to regain us from the claws of the wicked one. He is our Savior. One thing is important though: the one to be rescued must be willing and ready to be rescued. When the Lord makes effort to ransom and the concerned party is insistent on falling, then a fall is almost inevitable. But for the one who loves the Lord and mistakenly falls or slides, the Lord is readily available to keep the same from falling.
Dear friend, what is that sin you are battling with that seem to be mesmerizing your spirit-life? Submit unto the Lord our Savior today and He will keep you from falling. He is the One that has kept your heart on the side of standing thus far that you have not become a shipwreck already. He can sustain you and keep you faultless with exceeding joy.
SOLUTION: Don’t keep struggling with the Holy Spirit in deciding matters. Always be ready to obey. The voice or thought that resonates with the word of God is the one leading you to sustenance in the Lord. Everything that has to do with lust must be discarded.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you will never faulter or fall ever. The Lord will hold you up and prevent you from falling in Jesus’ name. Your journey through life on earth shall not be a waste in the name of Jesus. And the sacrifice of the Lord over your life shall not be in vain in Jesus’ name.
